September came and with it an interesting experience. After my unplanned move to Berlin and a seven month delay, I was back in São Paulo. For the first time I had a luggage filled with clean clothes. That was when it struck me: I was not returning, but visiting.
If you ever need a reason to visit São Paulo, look no further. That beauty, aka. Bife à Paulista is worth a 12 hr flight. I had to make sure that it was my first proper meal.
O Terno's concert at Auditório do Ibirapuera was a bold statement of a trio's power on stage. SP na Rua made me feel like being inside of the Matrix 2 rave, quite a strange mix of energies: enjoying the hell out of it, but also making sure you still had your phone&wallet by the end of the night. Check the video that MCI made. Somehow Karaoke is still big in São Paulo, so why not. A lot of meat and sous vide were involved on the making of this trip. Getting two new roommates and having a party at a sauna. Also I almost had an anaphylactic shock in Catuçaba (but that is a new post).
